Sunon Facilities Unharmed by Taiwan Earthquake

On Wednesday, April 3rd, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred just off the east coast of Taiwan, killing nine people, injuring almost 1000, and damaging buildings. Though Taiwan regularly experiences earthquakes, this was the strongest one in 25 years.

Many Sunon customers have reached out asking how the earthquake affected us, since our headquarters are in southern Taiwan. Fortunately, there was no damage at either our headquarters or our production site and sub-suppliers in China.

Though the earthquake did not impact us, our thoughts go out to those families and communities affected.
